Scout is able to email an alert to the admin when a new appointment is requested. You can choose to receive all new request notifications or limit when a notification is sent based on the time between the request occurring and the requested appointment time.

Example 1:

You've set the threshold to 48 hours. Today is January 1. 

You received a request for January 2. 

You will be notified, by email, of the request.

Example 2:

You've set the threshold to 48 hours. Today is January 1. 

You received a request for January 4. 

You will NOT be notified, by email, of the request because the appointment time requested is more than 48 hours from the time the request was initiated by the pet owner.

Scout is able to email an alert to the admin when a new appointment is cancelled. You can choose to receive all cancellation notifications or limit when a notification is sent based on the time between the cancellation being processed and the time of the appointment.

Example 1:

You've set the threshold to 48 hours. 

An appointment scheduled for January 2 is cancelled on January 1. 

You will be notified, by email, of the request.

Example 2:

You've set the threshold to 48 hours. 

An appointment scheduled for January 5 is cancelled on January 1. 

You will be NOT be notified, by email, of the cancellation because the customer is giving more than 48 hours notice before the scheduled appointment time.

Scout allows you to notify the admin and the staff member when the staff member is late for an appointment. This setting works for set times or hybrid arrival window scheduling.

The business sets a threshold for what is considered late. Once the staff member is later than the set threshold, an email is sent to the admin email address and a push notification is sent to the staff member.

No late notifications are sent to pet owners at this time.

Toggle on to receive email notifications of pet birthdays. Each week a report is sent containing the birthdays that are occurring the following week.
