What Is Bulk Approval?
Bulk Approval allows you to:
Approve multiple pending appointment requests at once
Deny multiple pending appointment requests at once
Save time when reviewing large numbers of requests
Process requests faster during high-volume periods
This feature is designed for speed and efficiency β especially for teams managing many daily bookings.
How to Use Bulk Approval
Go to your Scout Dashboard section.
Pending Approval
Select the appointments you want to process.
Click Approve All or Deny All (bulk action option).
Confirm your action.
All selected requests will be processed at the same time.
Important Behavior to Know
Staff Assignment
Bulk approval does not assign a team member in bulk.
Appointments approved in bulk will remain unassigned unless they were already assigned.
You will need to assign staff manually afterward if needed.
This is intentional β the feature is focused on speeding up approval/denial, not scheduling logistics.
Notifications
Customer notifications will follow your normal notification settings.
When to Use Bulk Approval
Bulk approval works best when:
You receive many requests at once
You already know you will approve most requests
Staff assignment will be handled later
You want to clear the pending queue quickly
When Not to Use Bulk Approval
You may prefer individual approval if:
Each appointment needs a different staff member assigned immediately
Requests require careful individual review
Special pricing or service adjustments are needed per booking
