It is possible that Scout could experience an outage at some point. Having a disaster recovery plan is important for businesses. In the last few months, there have been some noteworthy outages across the internet. In October 2016 and again in February 2017, major companies lost access to the internet, and people couldn't access the important tools they rely on. While we never intend to have an outage, it is important to be prepared

How It Works

Every Monday, Scout will send you an email with a link to download a CSV file. Your schedule will automatically be backed up on a daily basis and made available via a CSV file that contains your schedule for the following 3 days. You will receive an email every Monday with a link to this file. In the event of an outage, this file contains the necessary information to complete your appointments. You can download a copy at any time using the link provided in your email.

It is best practice to download a copy of this file for offline access once per day.
