Thanks for your interest in Scout! We're really excited to have you take it for a test drive. We want to make things as easy as possible to get you up and running, so you can see what Scout has to offer.

Make sure you let us know if there is something you can't find or a feature you're looking for. All you have to do is use the little chat button on the bottom right and we will get back to you, typically within a few min, unless we're sleeping.
A number of companies wanted to give Scout a try before giving us payment information and setting up a merchant account. We completely understand, so we re-worked the setup and you can try Scout with no customer fees for 15 days. After that time, you will be required to enter a payment method and we'll begin charing the $0.40 per appointment technology fee.
If you wish to begin billing your customers, you will need to set up an account with Braintree Merchant Processor, a PayPal company. Just click the link in the header when signed into Scout.
We've added a few business setup features to help you get started even faster.
- Visit https://app.scoutforpets.com
- Click "Create Account"
- Fill out the required information, and click sign up;
- Please check you email. You should receive a link to confirm you account. Follow the link to sign in and finish the business setup.
Follow the on screen instructions to complete the business setup process. It only takes a min or two!
Create a Customer to Get Started
Once you completed the Quick Setup, you'll have the option to create a new customer right away. We suggest using yourself as a client, but please use a different email address.
We have automatically created a free service for you. This way you can test things out before you have to get into all the details.
We will send out a welcome email once you compete the setup process. Among other things, it has a link to all the apps. If you open this email on your phone, you should be able to start testing the apps out right away.
